What is Rhinoplasty or Rhinoseptoplasty?
Rhinoplasty is surgery that modifies the shape of the nose, and is one of the most frequently performed surgical procedures in plastic surgery.

What will return to normal?
After surgery, and especially during the first 24 hours, you will face swollen, bruised, upset over the nose and headache surely, that will transfer with analgesia and anti-inflammatory ruled.

Most people who undergo rhinoplasty are well in two days, being able to resume their daily activities within a week or so.
However, your plastic surgeon will give you specific instructions, some recommendations will avoid strenuous activities such as jogging, swimming, gymnastics … for 2 or 3 weeks, avoid hitting nose and sunbathe for 8 weeks, and wash your face, apply makeup carefully. You can put yourself back lenses as soon as you like, but if you wear glasses you should take certain precautions.
It will be important to note that our appearance will improve day by day. In one or two weeks, it will appear that you’ve undergone a rhinoplasty. The improvement is progressive and gradual, but may be maintained a minimum swelling, especially at the tip, for several months. Your plastic surgeon you’ll be seeing in the months after surgery to see the evolution.
You can not make a judgment about the outcome of a rhinoplasty until the lapse of several months, even a year or so. This is the time required to stabilize tissues and scars for their maturation process.
How do I prepare or Rhinoseptoplasty Rhinoplasty?

When you decide doing surgery the doctor will give you instructions on how to prepare for surgery, including guidelines to keep on shooting or suppressing medications, vitamins, iron supplements, food, liquid and snuff.
Make sure also that a family member or companion can take you home when you are to be discharged and, if necessary, can help a few days.
What precautions should I take?
